Time: Sat, Jun 1, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
If you are interested in saving the bees, love eating blueberries, or have a fondness for amazing views, this is the perfect hike for you. We will be starting near the top of the hill for a 1.5 mile hike on easy terrain. Susan Morris, an MVLT founder and local organic blueberry farmer will impart the history of Midcoast Blueberry Farming; and Jade Christensen, Maine Conservation Corps Environmental Steward, will be discussing bees’ use in agriculture and how you can support native bees. Please join us and learn about your local agriculture and see some spectacular views!
Parking is at the kiosk at the end of the Elmer Hart Lane near the top of Clarry Hill.
