There are a number of ways you can make a deeper commitment to the our mission of clean water, thriving communities and land for all.
Gift of Land Protection
You can contribute directly to conservation by protecting the property you own in Midcoast Maine. Many options exist to conserve land; a donation of either the land/title or a conservation easement on the land can result in tax advantages for you. Any land conservation project would be tailored to your needs. Contact Anna
A gift to Midcoast Conservancy in your will or trust can leave a lasting legacy in your name. Even families with modest means can make a tremendous impact by planning a gift through their will or estate plan. We have a growing group of Legacy Partners who have chosen to do this. Contact Jody

Railsback Legacy Program & memorial gifts
When Alan Railsback passed away in 2013, family and friends came together to honor a man who had worked much of his life to protect the Damariscotta Lake Watershed by creating the Railsback Fund. Alan was a tremendous catalyst for change and had a big heart. The fund continues today and as of 2017, over $40,000 has been donated. Each year we hire a promising young professional to be our Railsback Fellow to work in the area of land and water conservation. A variety of professional development experiences are offered and they get to learn how to help us care for the watershed that Alan so loved.
Memorial gifts are a special way to honor the people we love. Contact Jody for more information.

Pay It Forward
A gift to our endowment ensures future generations will continue to enjoy and benefit from the lands and waters we are charged with protecting – forever. Gifts to our endowment are invested conservatively and provide a stable annual income to Midcoast Conservancy while your principal investment is protected. Contact Anna
