Join Midcoast Conservancy for a volunteer trail work day at Trout Brook Preserve in Alna where we will hike through a hemlock grove along the scenic Trout Brook on the red trail to get to our work site.
During the trail day, we’ll focus on replacing a rickety bridge crossing one of the drainages and do some lopping and trail clearing on our hike out to the bridge.
The day will start in the morning at 9:00am and wrap up around 12:00pm with the option to have a picnic lunch along the river afterwards.
No experience is required, just an interest in being outside with like-minded people giving back to a public trail. Tools will be provided (though participants are encouraged to bring your favorite loppers, hand saw, and gloves if you have them).

Space is limited and registration for this event is required.
