Hike, bike, ski, or paddle across 16,000 acres and miles of trails across our public preserves…All are welcome.

Midcoast Conservancy and our volunteers manage nearly 90 miles of trails on properties stretching from Knox, Freedom, and Montville south to properties in Newcastle and Alna and east to Friendship. Private campsites and rustic huts are available for overnight stays with a reservation at Hidden Valley Nature Center (managed through Hip Camp).
