Sediment carries nutrients with it as it moves into waterways. Minimizing erosion, especially along shorelines, can be an important way to have a positive impact on waterways.
Preventing shoreline erosion is important as we see more intense storms and sea level rise. Plus erosion mitigation can also be beautiful!
