1/30/24 Fantastic conditions!
We have been rolling trails this morning and will continue to groom throughout the day. Things are looking fantastic so far!
1/29/24 Fresh tracks today!
Fresh tracks today! We received about 4 inches of wet snow overnight. We may try and groom a few trails tomorrow morning depending on temps.
1/27/24 Soft and slushy snow
We have a thin layer of snow after yesterday’s storm. Conditions are soft and trails are patchy in places, but the trails less traveled are in good shape.
1/26/24 The snow is falling!
We have received a dusting of snow and it continues to fall. It could be a good day for an after work ski if things keep up!
1/25/24 Still have a base
We still have about an inch of crust that will turn to slush as the temperature rises. Crossing our fingers that we don’t lose what we have the the predicted rain in the forecast.
1/18/24 Snow!!!
We have groomed about 30% of the trails and we will be watching the snow as it develops more of a crust to groom more. But it’s light and fluffy stuff!
1/11/24 After the rain…
Post-rainstorm trail conditions are spotty. We were able to keep some of the base where we groomed but it isn’t consistent. If you’re hiking, bring some micro-spikes because where there isn’t snow, there is ice!
1/9/24 new year, new snow!
First good snow of the year! We received about 6 inches of sugary snow. We have are rolled a few trails this morning to set up some pretty good skiing for the day. Come get it before the rain does!
12/4/23 First Snow of the Year!
Its beginning to look a lot like winter! Fist snow of the year is an inch of wet snow, not skiable yet but a good start!
3/18 Spring is Near
Spring is on the way! Looks like it may be the last weekend on skis. It’s a little slushy, but we still have a good amount of snow coverage. If you decide to come out this weekend, expect some bare patches and leftover debris from our last storm. The Welcome Center is open for gear rentals from 8am-4pm today.
3/15 Wet, Heavy Snow
Winter isn’t over yet! We received about 6-8 inches of wet snow overnight leaving many trees leaning across the trails. We are out rolling a few trails this morning to set up some pretty good skiing for the day. Come get it before the rain does!
3/12 Variable Conditions
We are experiencing variable conditions this weekend. Hard and crusty snow in the morning, turning to soft, slushy snow in the afternoon. If you make it out today, expect some great skiing mixed with some not so great skiing. You may encounter sections of exposed trail or ice, but overall the skiing is still pretty good! The Welcome Center is open for gear rentals today from 8am-4pm!
3/11 Spring Conditions
Spring is here! We haven’t been out grooming since Tuesday in order to keep what we have. Fast skiing in the morning- turning to soft, spring-like conditions in the afternoon. The Welcome Center is open for gear rentals today from 8am-4pm!
3/5 Best Conditions of the Year!

3/4 Biggest Storm of the Year!
7 inches and counting… We are out grooming today during our biggest storm of the year! Things are looking spectacular and the storm isn’t stopping any time soon. If you do come out today, drive safely! The roads are going to be treacherous today and we will have just as good of conditions tomorrow!
3/3 Full Coverage
We are out this morning doing some grooming and things are looking incredible! We pretty much have full coverage on all trails and are looking forward to a great weekend!
2/26 Good Base
Another great day of skiing out here! Conditions are quite similar to yesterday. Fast skiing on the packed down trails and still plenty of fresh tracks for the more adventurous. Be cautious of areas with icy and/or exposed trail. We took the groomer out briefly this morning on the service road to flatten out any footprints, but will not be grooming any other trails today. The forecast is calling for a possible 1-2 inch dusting this afternoon to add to the fun! The Welcome Center is open from 8am-4pm today!
2/25 Powder Skiing
We went out and made a few quick laps with the groomer this morning and things are looking pretty good! Come out and enjoy a beautiful day skiing! Stop in the Welcome Center and say Hi! We are open from 8am-4pm today for gear rentals. If you come out on foot, please try to stay off to the side of the groomed trails. The skiers will thank you!
2/23 Six Inches of Fresh Powder
We have a total of about 6 inches of fresh powder. The skiing conditions are better than expected, but still be cautious of icy patches and exposed trail in some places. The RSB Welcome Center is open today from 8am-4pm. We may hold off on grooming until tomorrow to let the snow set up. Hope to see you out here!
2/23 Five Inches and Counting
We received about 5 inches of powder overnight to make it a winter wonderland out here again. We are expecting more snow throughout the day so things will just keep getting better! Fresh tracks today and we will be grooming tomorrow morning! The RSB Welcome Center is open today until 4pm! If you do brave the roads, drive safe!
