  • Waldoboro Village Park 181 Jefferson Street Waldoboro, ME, 04572 United States (map)

Join Midcoast Conservancy and the Waldoboro Garden Club for a day of hands-on learning about native plants at Waldoboro Village Park!

Author, entomologist, and ecologist John Hayden will give a talk on Native Plants and Pollinators at 10:00 AM, followed by a talk on Native and Edible Landscaping by Midcoast Conservancy's Stewardship Director Isobel Curtis at 11:00 AM.

We will end by planting a demonstration pollinator patch and riparian buffer together at 12:00 PM with plants generously donated by The Waldoboro Garden Club and Twin Oak Forest Farm.

Native plants will also be for sale so you can enhance your home habitat. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy by the beautiful Medomak River afterwards. Open to all ages.
