RFP announcement:
Midcoast Conservancy has partnered with SWCA Environmental Consultants to reclaim and restore two abandoned gravel pits on a 500-acre parcel of conserved land as part of the Musquash Pond Preserve Gravel Pits Wetland and Wildlands Creation Project (Jefferson, Maine), the goals which are to create and restore areas of both emergent and forested freshwater wetland, create one vernal pool, restore associated critical terrestrial habitat, and restore the existing steeply-sloped walls of the pits.
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued by Midcoast Conservancy to provide the contracting services required with funds provided by the Maine Natural Resources Conservation Program.
