Conduct water quality monitoring, public health monitoring, courtesy boat inspections, and invasive species monitoring on Damariscotta Lake.
Monitor and collect data on cyanobacteria in Damariscotta Lake in partnership with Bigelow Laboratory pursuant to existing grant funding.
Maintain long-term water quality monitoring sites in the Sheepscot River and the Sheepscot and Medomak estuaries as part of Maine Coastal Observing Alliance.

Conduct outreach and technical assistance to shorefront land owners on erosion control best practices.
Explore mechanisms to educate our community on the connection between land conservation and water quality protection.

Restore and create wetlands and upland buffers in the Musquash Pond Preserve pursuant to existing grant funding.
Work collaboratively with partners on assessing and prioritizing river restoration projects in the Sheepscot River.
Pursue instream habitat restoration projects in the Sheepscot River watershed.
Support culvert replacement projects in our service area that are being pursued by others and adhere to Stream Smart or Coastwise design standards.
