Join us Sunday mornings January 10 - February 21 for a community ski club at Midcoast Conservancy’s Hidden Valley Nature Center.
Each week skiers gather at The Barn at 9:30 AM, with their skis, ready for adventure. Those registered for ski lessons, which will occur during Ski Club in January, will head out with our coaches to work on specific ski skills such as learning to glide, climbing hills, turning on down hills and how to use poles. For our youngest participants coaches will focus on getting up when you fall, balancing on your skis, and moving forward. Whether you’ve always wanted to learn to cross country ski or you’ve skied before but could use some new skills, we’ll meet you where you’re at in a fun no pressure environment.
Individuals not registered for lessons will meet friends new and old to head out on their own adventures to explore the farthest reaches of Hidden Valley Nature Center. Love cross country skiing but have kids slowing you down? Let us teach the kids while you head onto the trails with new friends
Everyone will gather back at the Barn to relax by the woodstove, share food and drink around the outside campfire, and build community at Hidden Valley Nature Center. We hope you and your family will join us this winter!
