Join Midcoast Conservancy and the Appalachian Mountain Club of Maine for a joint trail work day at West Branch Preserve in Somerville!
We will be focusing on building a stepping stone pathway over a wet section of trail, in addition to installing a water bar and lopping some overgrowth if we have enough hands. If you haven't worked with rock before and would like to, or if you'd like to add to your rock work experience, please join us for a few hours of rock and roll fun!
The trail workday will start in the morning, details of starting time and trailhead location will be provided once you register through AMC’s website for the event.
No experience is required, just an interest in being outside with like-minded people giving back to a public trail. Bring work gloves, study shoes, water and a snack. We will provide the tools and expertise!
